Anaemia may be caused due to dietary deficiency or malnutrition, poor absorption of iron, multiple pregnancies, increased blood loss due to piles (haemorrhoids) or heavy bleeding during periods (menstruation) resulting in fatigue, poor concentration or reduced work capacity, shortness of breath, dizziness etc.
